Hiraodai (Hiraodai Countryside Park)
北九州市 時と風の博物館
One of Japan’s three greatest karst landscapes, designated a national natural monument, lies in this park. Countless limestone structures are dotted on the plateau here, 400 to 600 meters above sea level, looking like a flock of sheep. You can hike in the photogenic scenery, and in the neighborhood there are also facilities where you can experience the fantastical caves, soba-making, or ceramics, making this a spot you can enjoy all day long.
