Approximately 200 dolphins inhabit the northern part of Futae Bay, called the Hayasaki Seto straight, where you can see them up close in the wild. Dolphins have a easygoing character and their curiosity makes them very friendly as they wait for the sounds of fishing boat engines before coming closer.

You can meet wild bottlenose dolphins that inhabit Amakusa throughout the year. Bottlenose dolphins are very friendly and will perform for visitors by swimming alongside cruisers, jumping in front of you, and bringing fish in their mouths. In addition to dolphin watching, the cruise also offers exhilarating tours around the Amakusa Gokyo bridges, the Ariake Sea, and Amakusa Islands.
